1994-P Jefferson Nickel Matte Finish FS. This nickel was part of the Thomas Jefferson Coinage and Currency Set and has a low mintage of 167,703. Beautifully struck coin that kickstarted the series. The finish was created by sandblasting the dies and striking the coin twice to result in what was called “matte finish” or “matte proof”. This coin just looks amazing in hand.
