Custom Sets

We love pennies so much, we named our store after them!

What most people may not know is that we specialize in building custom Lincoln sets for our customers— it's literally what we do!

Have you dreamed of owning a complete Lincoln cent set? Let us build it for you! Are you in need of pristine steel cents? Searching for toned wheat cents? Perhaps you're just 17 BU coins shy of completing your book? Whatever your needs, rest assured—we've got what you are looking for.

If you’re a seasoned collector and you don’t see a specific coin listed in our inventory, don’t hesitate to reach out to our experts. We likely have the items in stock.

To our first-time collectors, we understand that building your first penny book can feel overwhelming. Fear not! This is YOUR journey. Whether your goal is to fill a single sheet, a modest $5 book, or your grandfather's 290 coin, partially completed book, we can help!

Things to consider:

Collecting Doesn't Have to Break the Bank. Many Lincoln cents are quite reasonably priced—so much so that many coins in my first book came straight from pocket change! However, it’s good to be aware: some coins can be surprisingly pricey. Collectors often leave that hole blank in their books, opt for more affordable specimens, or choose to purchase graded versions and fill the gap with placeholder coins.

Pay Attention to Condition. As you progress in building your set, it’s important to be honest with yourself about your budget. Sure, shiny coins are enticing, but they also come with a price tag. Don't worry—there are always deals to be found, and the more you explore, the better you’ll become at spotting them!

Utilize Price Guides: Whether you use an online price guide or invest in a physical book, these resources will quickly inform you of the value of the coins you’re considering.

Mint Marks Matter: Keep in mind that Lincoln cents were minted in one of three locations—Denver, San Francisco, or Philadelphia. The first two will have a mint mark (D or S) on the obverse, just below the date, while Philadelphia coins are unmarked.

You’re Not Alone: If you’re still not certain, why not invite a family member or friend to join you? Do you have a child? Give them the book. Let them fill the holes. Collecting can (definitely) be a fun bonding experience.

Adventure Awaits: Whether you discover a coin in your change, visit a local coin store, or attend a local show, each find feels like treasure.

Each coin tells a story: Ever wonder why the obverse and reverse designs of coins look the way they do? Were you aware the first Lincoln cent was minted in 1909- to commemorate the centennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth? Learning is oftentimes more fun than searching for coins. I know it is with me.

You'll WANT to look at your coins: A well-structured album not only protects your coins but also allows for easy viewing and appreciation. They will look good on your bookshelf too.

Hope we were able to put your mind at ease. We also hope that we gave you the nudge needed to build a book of your own.

Whether you are first-timer or a seasoned Lincoln cent connoisseur, if you have ANY questions, do not hesitate to contact us! We look forward to helping you start or expand your Lincoln cent collection!

Thanks again, and happy collecting!
